PHILLYBLAST SCREENSAVERS:

The screensavers are now available again for download. We apologize for any inconvenience if you tried in vain to download these before.

We are pleased to present to you the first three of our new series of implosion screensavers. All of them are "freeware" and you are invited to download them all. Each one features implosions from a specific geographic region. One covers Philadelphia, one Newark, NJ and the third one is from various other locations. They will be added onto as there are more blasts in each city, so check back frequently for updates.

We will also periodically be creating new ones, geared towards specific blasts. If you have a favorite one from this site that you would like to see made into a screensaver, just email us at webmaster@phillyblast.com. If we get enough requests, we will make a new screensaver.

Before downloading, take note of the file sizes. The versions with the music are quite large. If you have a slow internet connection, or a computer with no sound system, we urge you to download the version without music. Each of these screensavers has been tested on our equipment and they run flawlessly, however we can't make any guarantee as to how they will run on your computer. We would recommend a Pentium with at least 32 MB of RAM to run these, and you definately need Windows 95 or higher. Should you have any other trouble, please let us know so we can try to correct the problem on future releases.

Most of all, have a blast with them, and check back often to see what new ones become available.

"Hill Manor" Screensaver:

Version 1.0 features the 21 story Hill Manor apartment building implosion in Newark, NJ.

"Philadelphia Implosions" Screensaver:

Version 1.0 features the Jack Frost Sugar Refinery Implosions, the Reading Grain Elevator, Martin Luther King Plaza and Southwark Towers.

The soundtrack is "Menace" by Cabaret Voltaire. It's the only song we know of where the lyrics are specifically about building implosions.
